What is NatraSan Skin

The active ingredient of NatraSan Skin is HOCI or hypochlorous acid, a highly effective weak acid that is naturally present in the human immune system.

Efficacy

NatraSan Skin delivers ultimate levels of skin and tissue disinfection and is powerfully bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal and sporicidal. NatraSan Skin is also incredibly fast acting and kills pathogens through oxidation – on contact. NatraSan Skin has been independently tested to 12 EN standards.

Regulatory

NatraSan Skin is compliant with the European Biocidal Product Regulations Eu 528 (2012).

Under these regulations NatraSan Skin has been rigorously evaluated by the Eu competent authority for safety and efficacy and is approved for type 1 human use.

Also approved for type 2-5 uses.

Chemically stable formula

NatraSan Skin is a genuinely stabilised, optimum strength hypochlorous solution with a shelf life (even after opening) of 18 months. NatraSan does not contain preservatives or stabilising agents and the stability comes from the development of our electrodialysis manufacturing process. This stability data has been independently validated under our Eu528 (2012) compliance.
